Jackson County Library

Welcome

The Jackson County Library was established in 1962. It has had various locations but currently resides at 910 Main Street. The current building needs a lot of work, and our Friends Group is working extremely hard to help fund improvements to our current building and the possible addition of a community room.

E-Books & Audiobooks

Download free eBooks and audiobooks directly to your portable devices and computers. Thousands of titles are currently available, including recently published.

Online Databases

The South Dakota State Library provides a collection of free online research and educational resources and databases for a variety of ages and interests.

Recent News

The Angel Tree tags for the residents are now at the Library until December 19th. We are asking that all gifts be returned to the Library by December 19th. There is also a food give away in progress. Send anyone that could use some canned goods, etc. to the Library.
